Zua Safari Lodge was created from a vision by Sarah Falconer, who designed and built the lodge from the ground up, opening its doors in 2022. Her dream was to showcase the incredible natural beauty and local talent that Malawi has to offer. Every element of Zua has been hand-crafted and thoughtfully built to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
Preserving the environment was at the heart of the project—from protecting native trees to establishing a private nature reserve where guests can experience the tranquility and raw beauty of Malawi. Zua Safari Lodge stands as a celebration of sustainability, craftsmanship, and the spirit of Malawi itself.

Our guides are extremely well trained and knowledgeable and are qualified to escort walking and driving safaris. They will ensure your trip is both safe and memorable. With their extensive knowledge, they can provide insight into the complex and fascinating world of the African wildlife and habitat, as well as local traditions, beliefs and bush remedies as only a traditional, local guide can.
